A New Tour
Well, it's been almost two weeks since the New Reflection Tour started and I'd say we're off and running quite nicely. The first two shows in Des Moines and Omaha were amazing! It was so nice to see both rooms filled with people anxious to hear the new stuff. Show number three in Pittsburg was a bust all the way around. Fisrt off, after arriving at the "outdoor venue" we got the bus stuck in the mud had to get towed out. Then, after what seemed to be a 7 hour load in and sound check the rain came and washed away all of our hopes at a rock show. And this was no dinky little shower...we got dumped on...and so did some of our equipment so that just added insult to injury. Anyway, we got out of there and on to Lawrence where we had a great show at the Granada. It was nice to be dry again and on a big stage. The new lighting rigs looked really cool. I can't wait to bust them out at future dates. After Lawrence we rumbled off to Kearny where some creative staging helped us pull off back to back rock shows in front of a full house. I got to drive the bus on this leg of the trip and I gotta tell ya, it was awesome! I love driving and have this weird fascination with trucks and big vehicles. So for me to log 12-13 good hours at the wheel of our 65 feet of rubber and steel, was kind of a dream come true. I know, I'm weird. After Pomeroy I'll probably drive a truck for a living. :) Anyway, the tour has been great so far. We kick off a new week of shows tonight In Warrensburg, MO followed by 2 nights in Cedar Falls, IA and a night in Independence, IA. It looks to be a good week. Also, for those of you itunes users, A New Reflection is now available on itunes, just do a search for Pomeroy and start downloading away. Happy downloading! Finally, if you have taken any good quality pics or video of us on tour so far, send them to us at info@mw-creative.com. Who knows, we may post them on the site or add them to Pomeroy TV. By the way, new clips are coming so keep checking Pomeroy TV for more fun with us on the road.

And now Deep Thoughts... by Tyson Leslie
Whew…
Man… after hours and hours, days and days, and a ridiculous amount of prepping for the release, it's finally here. The new album is available to the masses! "A New Reflection" is exactly what we've been hoping it would be. It's an opportunity to shed some skin, start fresh with a new perspective on Pomeroy and have an opportunity to be proud of who we are, the music we make, and to be excited to bring you a whole new Pomeroy show live, in your face!
Our goal this time around is not only to refuel our fans with something new, (after all, it's been a while since we've put out a new full length record) but we're also out convert all of those who've had an ounce of reasonable doubt.
The rumours are true. This album does strongly stand alone from our previous bodies of work, but I think (especially if you're an old school Pomeroy fan) if you give the album a few listens, you'll discover that not only the core of Pomeroy is still there, but the songs are vibrant, catchy and it will be one of the few albums you find these days that you'll want to listen to from top to bottom many times over.
After weeks of rehearsals and relearning new and old songs alike, we feel like we've put together the best pomeroy show ever. I believe (no pun intended) that the new songs are going to be a hit live in a very big way.
If you don't see your city on the tour yet, rest assured we're going to make it out your way eventually.
See you on the road!!!..
T.
